Soy is also rich in calcium, iron, zinc, potassium, B-vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids.

Aside from lowering the chances of heart disease, promoting healthier bones, and lowering the chances of developing breast and other cancers, soy is also beneficial to those who suffer from diabetes. Soy is known to slow down the digestion process and the rates of absorption. This can aid in the regulation of blood sugars.
